about a potential privacy violation. When we receive formal written complaints
at this address, we will contact the person who has complained and attempt to
resolve the concern. Pinpoint Pickup will cooperate with the appropriate
regulatory authorities, including local data protection authorities, to resolve
any complaints regarding the transfer of personal data that cannot be resolved
between Pinpoint Pickup and an individual or business.
Overview of Collected Information and Its Uses
We offer some services that do not require that you provide any personal
information or create an account. However, in certain circumstances, in order
to provide you with the most convenient and high quality services, Pinpoint may
collect personal information from you.
- Information you provide — If you or your company choose to
create an account we will ask for personal information (such as your name,
address, phone number, etc.) We will also ask for some personal information,
such as your telephone number, when you request a ride. In certain
circumstances, we may also ask for payment information, such as a credit card
number. Information you submit in one location (e.g. our web site) may be
combined with information you submit in a different location (e.g. using your
mobile phone) in order to provide you with seamless service.
- Cookies — When you visit a web site controlled by Pinpoint
Pickup, your computer or other device may receive one or more cookies (i.e.
small files containing a string of characters uniquely identifying your

might only receive an address).

regulation, legal process or enforceable governmental request, (b) enforce
applicable Terms of Service, including investigation of potential violations
thereof, (c) detect, prevent, or otherwise address fraud, security or technical
issues, or (d) protect against harm to the rights, property or safety of
Pinpoint Pickup, its users or the public as required or permitted by law.
If Pinpoint Pickup becomes involved in a merger, acquisition, or any form of
sale of some or all of its assets, we will ensure the confidentiality of any
personal information involved in such transactions.
We may share with third parties certain pieces of aggregated information,
such as the number of users who ordered ride service or the number of rides to
a certain popular location (e.g. an airport). Such information will not
identify you individually.
We take appropriate security measures to protect against unauthorized access
to data or unauthorized alteration, disclosure or destruction of data.
We restrict access to personal information to Pinpoint Pickup employees,
contractors and agents who need to know that information in order to operate,
develop or improve our services. These individuals are bound by confidentiality
obligations and may be subject to discipline, including termination and
criminal prosecution, if they fail to meet these obligations.
Accessing and updating personal information
We take reasonable steps to ensure that the personal information we process
is accurate, complete, and current, but we depend on our users to update or
correct their personal information whenever necessary.
When you use Pinpoint Pickup services, we make good faith efforts to provide
you with access to your personal information as relevant; we make efforts to
enable you to either correct this data if it is inaccurate or to request that
we delete such data if it is not otherwise required to be retained by law or
for legitimate business purposes. We ask individual users to identify
themselves and the information requested to be accessed, corrected or removed
before processing such requests, and we may decline to process requests that
are unreasonably repetitive or systematic, require disproportionate technical
effort, jeopardize the privacy of others, or would be extremely impractical
(for instance, requests concerning information residing on backup tapes), or
for which access is not otherwise required. In any case where we provide
information access and correction, we perform this service free of charge,
except if doing so would require a disproportionate effort.
